I liked the proximity to the airport. I appreciated the young man's demeanor at the reception desk..very cordial and welcoming. It has a quaint charm. Beds were very comfortable...could have extra pillows available in rooms
I missed having a bathtub. The two rooms that we had could use carpet cleaning. (218 and 215) Room 215 did not have a coffee maker or microwave as did 218 In regards to following question of recommendation...I would say Yes with description of limited facilities....and rustic setting.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and concerned about their guest. The restaurant I went to for dinner ( within walking distance) was terrible. When I got back to the hotel I told the manager so they would know in the future. A few minutes later there was a knock on my door and he had brought me three slices of a pizza he had just ordered. I liked the hotel and the people. For the price and the near to the airport status ($10.00 for the cab) I will stay there again.

We booked in as a couple but were only supplied with one set of bath towels. We had to ask each night (of our three night stay) for another set of towels. We thought that this was extremely inconvenient.

The rooms were extra roomy. It was a little warm. We should have asked for a fan and would have been fine. Staff were very nice, Breakfast was great to have a quick snack. Pancake batter missing but ok. (We didn't ask for it) Price was good for us. If we had extra adults in the room we would have had room for it. Rooms a little outdated, but we were ok and comfortable. We will stay with you again. Look forward to it. Thanks, The Shults
Needed more pillows. They were flat. We just used the ones from the extra bed.

Staff (even the late-late night shift) was fantastic - helpful and extremely pleasant.
Rooms are fairly dated, which is no problem, in and of itself, but my wife wasn't sure the room didn't smell of urine...that's a little bothersome.

Proximity to airport and breakfast that was included.
For $30 more, we could have stayed at the Hilton Garden which is newer, cleaner, better value all around. Long House is dark, dreary, depressing, and worn-out looking.

The location was convenient and the facilities were adequate. The staff was responsive when asked for assistance.
The heat was not on despite temperatures in the 40s and 50s; they did bring us a space heater that did help. The day after we checked in, Housekeeping totally missed our room, so we had to ask for more towels, coffee, etc. And, the vacuuming of the room was inadequate.

THe van driver Richard most pleasant and gave me a ride to a resturant after taking me to the hotel. They had a freezer to store my salmon on my stopover in anchorage on the way home.
There were no towels in the room but they were provided promptly. The tv was small but I was there to sleep. All lodging in Anchorage is expensive

nothing
The carpeting was dirty, the room had an aroma of urine, we had to get a new key card every night, we had to ask for clean towels, we had to ask for toilet paper, window coverings were falling off, no closet to hang things, no elevators for second floor. We will not stay there again and will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

The Long House is somewhere I've always wanted to stay...this is what drew me to it. I'm glad I stayed and experienced it, but I don't know that I'd stay there again.
I was hoping for more luxury. The night clerk was wonderful.
